Jon is a retired IBM Business Transformation Executive, who proudly served in the United States Navy, with three tours of duty in Vietnam. He has worked in both the private and public sectors.

Beginning his civilian career with IBM, Jon worked on hardware, moved into Enterprise Systems repair and later support. He has been a Field Engineer, Systems Engineer, Test Equipment Engineer, Program Manager, and Business Transformation Executive with IBM.

Jon left IBM to pursue an opportunity and advance his career with an independent software vendor before working for the State of Ohio as Deputy CIO for the Department of Taxation. He repatriated to IBM at the end of the administration.

Having served in Vietnam, Jon has an affinity for—and commitment to—the veteran community. His goal is to pay it back and forward by providing support and solace to fellow veterans.
