Marsha Krantz // Lessons Coordinator + PATH Instructor

Marsha brings over 40 years of horse experience to Stockhands, along with more than a decade of expertise as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist. Growing up on her family's horse farm in the suburbs of Chicago, she actively participated in the daily responsibilities that came with it. She showed on the ISHA circuit and was very involved in 4-H. After working as a restaurant manager and chef, she took a break to start a family with her husband, Mark.

Marsha later delved into training young horses and getting then under the saddle. In 2009, she started working at a farm with an equine-assisted activities and therapy program where she firsthand perspective on the power that horses have in helping others.

Over the past decade, Marsha has obtained various certifications including Instructor, Equine Specialist, and Mentor certifications through PATH, as well as EFL Level 1 and 2 certifications through The HERD Institute. She has taught therapeutic riding lessons, mentored aspiring instructors, aided in achieving PATH Premier Accreditation for a center, and facilitated equine-assisted sessions for diverse clients including students, veterans, first responders, corporations, and seniors.

In her downtime, Marsha cherishes spending quality time with her husband and daughters. She enjoys playing with her two corgis, traveling, reading, and indulging in her passion for riding and showing Hunter/Jumpers.
